Eight local noteworthy citizens are lending their time to support Band Together and our 2016 partner, Kidznotes. And, our friends at Eschelon Experiences and Faire will be donating 10% of all bar receipts from the event to our cause.

Matt Strickland and Keith Strombotne (5:30 - 6:10 p.m.)StricklandMMatt "Moose" Strickland is the executive director for Band Together and organizer extraordinaire. Each year Matt oversees hundreds of volunteers, a legion of sponsors and donors, multiple music events and a partnership with a new nonprofit. Matt's Drink: The Moosey Mojito - (Moose/Meese? love berries) Blackberries, mint leaves, sugar, lemon juice, lime juice, seltzer water, vodka or rum and ice.Keith StrombotneKeith Strombotne is the Director of Development for Kidznotes, an organization that aims to change the life trajectory of underserved k-12 students through orchestral training. As a member of the leadership team, Keith brings a fresh perspective to philanthropic development and community partnerships. Keith's Drink: TBD.John Teer and Dave Wilson (6:15 - 6:55 p.m.)CCL_Teer & WilsonYou may know John Teer & Dave Wilson from their day jobs as the lead harmonists for the Triangle Acoustic Supergroup Chatham County Line, but little do you know about their nighttime exploits.  Is it true that they don masks and capes and fight crime in the greater Raleigh area?  Is it true that one of them used to sell auto parts and the other deliver pizzas? The CCL Drink: The Manhattan Project - Bulleit Rye Whiskey muddled with Blood-Orange peel, Demerara Sugar & Fresh Cherries Shaken with ice and served neat in an old-fashioned glass.  On the side you will receive a shot glass containing an Atomic FireBall drizzled with Angostura Bitters.Kitty Kinnin and Jimmy Lloyd (7 - 7:40 p.m.)Kitty KinninKitty Kinnin has been rockin’ the NC airwaves for almost three decades – WKZL, the “original” WRDU,  100.7 The River and The Penguin in Wilmington are just some of her past gigs, and now you can find her on Sundays from 7-11 a.m. - on the Hangover Cafe on Radio 96.1. She is a seeker of everything culinary and local and volunteers for many non-profits including Interact and Triangle Family Services. Kitty's Drink: The Kitty Kat  - Loca Crude bitters, TOPO Gin.Jimmy LloydJimmy Lloyd, a Raleigh native, and has been a fixture of Raleigh radio for more than 25 years. His radio career has never taken him out of the Triangle, and he answers to many familiar names including Dangerboy (96Rock), Maverick (94.7 WQDR), or just plain Jimmy. In addition to Radio 96.1, he also works at Walnut Creek Amphitheater, Red Hat Amp, PNC Arena and The Ritz as the Assistant Production Manager for Live Nation Carolinas. Jimmy’s Drink: TBDDave Rose and Ben Barwick (7:45 - 8:25)Dave RoseDave Rose is the president of DSE Music Group International, which includes Deep South Entertainment and Oak City 7. He also owns and operates Deep South The Bar. A musician, author and music industry veteran, he has been guiding and developing the careers of multi-platinum artists for more than 20 years. Dave’s Drink: Sex & Candy - Vodka, Peach Schnapps, and Cranberry Juice.Ben BarwickBen Barwick is one of the co-founders of the Raleigh music venue Kings, and at 6'1" and a sturdy 207 pounds, Ben commands attention at the bar.  His drink sling is as smooth as the sweet bass sound he makes in the local classic country band Tonk.  As a leader in the Raleigh music scene, Barwick knows a thing or two about what the kids are into these days.  Ben's Refreshing Springtime Drink: The Carole Kings Songbird - Tito's vodka and soda, topped with fresh grapefruit and a squeeze of lime, all in a pint glass, on the rocks.
