Our 6th Annual Last Band Standing!
We are excited to announce tickets are on sale for this year’s Last Band Standing! In its sixth year, LBS promises to bring more great music and fun than ever before. And we are switching things up… we’re putting only three bands head-to-head for the title of the Last Band Standing, and later, we’ve got a late-night music set from our very talented friends, Yarn , who headlined the Big Cahoot in 2014 and 2015.This year’s competing bands hail from Boone and Benson, NC, as well as Dayton, VA. Bryan Elijah Smith & The Wild Hearts has an Alternative-Americana sound, Rebekah Todd & The Odyssey is a folk & blues band, and Dr. Bacon bill themselves as an "Appalachian Funk-Grass" band. It’s a diverse, fun and upbeat lineup that will make for a great show.Tickets are available at etix for $14.50 (Gen Adm) and $75 for VIP. VIP tickets include dinner from Bella Monica plus drinks and premier balcony viewing.back to top
Looking Back: The 2016 Big Cahoot
We had a great crowd at this year’s Big Cahoot, and thank you to everyone who came out for a night of music and fun. The week delay due to wintry weather couldn’t dampen spirits, and folks saw a great show with Laura Reed, the Balsa Gliders and Kate Rhudy. Be sure and check out our photos from the show on Flickr!back to top
Announcing our 2017 Nonprofit Partnership
We are excited to announce Band Together’s 2017 nonprofit partner… the YMCA of the Triangle’s Southeast Raleigh Promise Project. We will work with the YMCA of the Triangle on its capital campaign to make healthy living more accessible to all parts of our community. The YMCA of the Triangle started this effort by obtaining property in southeast Raleigh, which will serve as the home, or beacon site. The site will include a YMCA facility, affordable housing, a school, health care options and access to healthy food. We will officially begin our partnership in July, 2016. For more information, view our recent release.back to top

Our 2016 Partner Kidznotes in Action
Kidznotes is making meaningful changes in our community, one young musician at a time. Through the orchestral instruction they provide to students who might never experience classical music, Kidznotes is lifting up kids and schools. Along with seeing improvements in students’ grades and attendance, and fewer behavioral issues, Kidznotes is also imparting a lifelong interest in music for their students. Learn about just one of their students, Kiarra, and her successes in this Kidznotes post.back to top
