Meet Our Media Partner: WNCN

WNCNWe are so grateful to have WNCN as Band Together’s media partner for this third year running. Robby Thomas, WNCN director of marketing, believes that working with Band Together has provided both effective fundraising efforts and influenced the community for the better. Working with Band Together is a way for WNCN to reach out to people who might not look at local news and weather. Dane Huffman, executive web producer at WNCN, states that “our station’s mission is to serve our community, and Band Together is a perfect fit – an energetic group that identifies deserving charities and catapults them forward.”Band Together looks forward to partnering with WNCN for another year.  To read the full blog post with our media partner, WNCN, click HERE.back to top

  1. The Big Cahoot on January 25 at City Limits Saloon
  2. Last Band Standing event on March 1 at Lincoln Theatre.

Moose Tracks

Matt Alice 2013“For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne, we'll take a cup of kindness yet, for auld lang syne.” As I look back on 2013, I raise a glass to the good times and the bad, the friends made and the friends lost, the time spent with family and to the memories created.  For all that 2013 was, it was an opportunity to learn, grow and build upon.  I celebrate the days gone by, but look forward to the good times ahead with a hopeful heart and quiet determination to make this year better for my family and my community.  As your look ahead this year, I hope you will join the Band Together family in making the Triangle a better place to live.  Raise your cup of kindness and take care.back to top
