Does your favorite nonprofit need $1 Million?

The month of July sparks the beginning of Band Together’s selection process for its 2015 partner.  On July 15, Band Together will be hosting a Q&A session at Lincoln Theater from 5:30 to 7:00.  This session is designed to introduce Triangle based organizations to the benefits of a partnership with Band Together.  The Q&A session is an opportunity to hear from Band Together leaders and previous partners what criteria and commitments are required in order to apply for the 2015 partnership.  Attending the Q&A session is highly encouraged to learn more about the selection process and determine whether a Band Together partnership is a good fit for your organization.  If your organization is unable to send a representative(s), don’t worry - attendance is not required to apply.  RSVP by July 12 to Matt Strickland (matt@bandtogether.org), if you plan to attend. In order to be eligible for consideration, the agency must be recognized as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit agency.  Band Together takes into consideration the percentage of funds that go directly to the nonprofit’s programs, the nonprofit’s ability to engage its board of directors and supporters as part of event leadership, and the ability to make a meaningful difference to the nonprofit’s recipients. An additional requirement is that all prospective nonprofits serve the Triangle area and provide services without regard to a specific religious or political affiliation. To learn more, visit our website.  We look forward to seeing you July 15!
