Another Year, Another Huge Success!!
Were you there? Did you hear? When our fearless leaders, Matt Strickland and Danny Rosin, took the stage Saturday night to announce the final amount raised for the partnership with Tammy Lynn Center. Are you ready? Drum roll please!
$852,722
Thousands of people were in the audience as Mac and Juice Quartet, Chatham County Line, Delta Rae, and Lyle Lovett performed into the night. As music filled the air, concertgoers opened their wallets to try their luck at the Silent Auction, Wine Grab, the Artist’s Village, and of course, the raffle. All the proceeds, including sponsorships and ticket sales, helped us surpass our fundraising goal of $850,000. Dancing, singing, eating, and drinking – the attendees joined together for the wonderful cause that brought everyone to the show – the hundreds of families and individuals that Tammy Lynn Center serves. View all our event pics here! We’d like to thank Koka Booth Amphitheater in Cary for being a generous host for another great concert. A heartfelt thanks goes out to all of our sponsors who helped make this night possible, and to the volunteers who gave their time and energy to make the night run so smoothly. Another big thanks to all who came out to enjoy the night. To think the cost of a ticket has helped one individual, one family reach goals they may not have been able to achieve. And, of course, we give our thanks and congratulations to the tireless staff of Tammy Lynn Center. It has been a pleasure to work with such a deserving partner and see our efforts provide new technologies, services and medical equipment for the individuals and families they serve. And stay tuned as we work with our 2014 joint partners, Communities in Schools of Durham County and Communities in Schools of Wake County!
