Band Together Announces Packed Spring Concert Lineup

Delta Rae and Chatham County Line to Join Lyle Lovett at May 4th Concert to Benefit Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities

Raleigh, N.C., March 25, 2013Band Together NC, a Triangle-based organization that uses live music as a platform for social change, has filled the bill for their Spring concert with local bands that have gained popularity and following well beyond the Triangle and North Carolina. Delta Rae and Chatham County Line will be joining headliner Lyle Lovett on Saturday, May 4 at Cary’s Booth Amphitheatre for the diverse and packed lineup.Delta Rae with CaptionDurham-based Delta Rae fuses inspired four-part harmonies with a rich Carolina soul. Dubbed as “Mumford & Sons meets Fleetwood Mac,” the Alt-Pop band boasts four lead singers whose music incorporates all aspects of Americana including Gospel, Country, Blue Grass and Blues. They’ve appeared on VH-1, the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and recently at SXSW (South by Southwest), and have headlined shows to sold-out crowds on both coasts.Chatham Co LineChatham County Line combines a rock ’n’ roll sensibility with bluegrass, folk and country, and after six albums in the U.S., continue to amaze and gain fans far beyond North Carolina’s borders. Favorites at festivals such as as Merlefest, Grey Fox, Rockygrass, Shakori Hills and Pickin' in the Pines, Chatham County Line brings another diverse blend of music to a rich lineup at the May 4 event.Proceeds raised at the 2013 event will go to expanding the services offered at Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities, Band Together’s 2013 nonprofit partner, allowing the organization to make a difference for the nearly 400 families it serves. For the May 4 concert, Band Together hopes to raise more than $850,000 for the Band Together partnership with Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities.Through corporate and individual donations, Band Together NC has raised more than $2.1 million for local nonprofits since its inception in 2001. Major contributors include Cargill, S&A Cherokee, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, Bank of America, Duke Realty Corporation, Lincoln Theatre, Synergy Commercial Advisors, RPG Solutions, Brand Fuel, Trisure, CapTrust, Prometheus, Hosted Solutions and Manning, Fulton & Skinner, PA. Sponsorships begin at the $500 level and are still available.Tickets for the event range from $34.50 (in advance) for general seating to premium reserve seating for $69.50. VIP tickets are $150 and include exclusive access to catered food and beverage, premier viewing of the main stage, and a silent auction. Tickets for the event are on sale now through etix.com.
