Forward the e-mail to Thorne Daubenspeck (Thorne@bandtogethernc.org) or Meg Sink (msink@unitedwaytriangle.org) or copy them on an e-mail with the inquirer, and Thorne/Meg will ensure they are taken care of.

Upon signing up a sponsor, copy Meg Sink (msink@unitedwaytriangle.org) in an e-mail to them. Thorne will follow up to collect their marketing materials (logo, website, etc) and Meg will follow up with invoicing.

United Way will follow up with any sponsors who have not paid after 60 days.

When a payment is received, Band Together and United Way will send a thank you letter signed by Eric and Thorne.

On October 7th Band Together and United Way of the Greater Triangle are hosting the Mighty Giveback Main Event with Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit along with Durand Jones and Aaron Lee Tasjan. Jason Isbell is a 4-time Grammy Award winning Americana singer songwriter.

The Main Event on October 7th will have the traditional Band Together VIP block party in the adjacent lot from Red Hat Amphitheater with complimentary beer, wine, spirits, food trucks, silent auctions, live art, games, giveaways and more. About 1,200-1,400 people are expected to be in the VIP.

With increases in housing costs making homes unaffordable for individuals and families experiencing poverty, the Mighty Giveback’s goal is to raise more than $1 million to help ensure that Triangle residents and families have a safe place to live and thrive. The money raised for the Mighty Giveback will be evenly dispersed to our 20 Impact Partners.

Sign up to volunteer at the concert

We love our volunteers! Volunteer spots fill up quickly, so to receive updates about sign-ups please join Band Together’s Roadie E-mail List. All volunteers receive a ticket to the concert, a t-shirt, and a meal/drink ticket in return for 3 hours of volunteering.

Funds will be distributed as quickly as possibly following the October 7, 2023, concert, definitely by the end of the 2023 Calendar Year.

Absolutely! Band Together and United Way are committing to making this event inclusive for all four counties in the greater Triangle (Wake, Durham, Orange, and Johnston Counties). While the concert itself will be held at the Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, the funds raised through the event will benefit nonprofit organizations within the four-county footprint outlined above.
