Band Together is thrilled to bring Son Volt to Raleigh on May 19th. Head to downtown Raleigh to The Lincoln Theatre where great music and local altruism will collide from 6:30PM until 11PM with a FREE 11PM - 2AM after show inside Lincoln Theatre. This is a 21+ event.  Cabarrus Street will be closed off, so feel free to bring a lawn chair (and your dancing shoes) for this outdoor event. Price is $17.50 in advance. 5 Bands for one price and one great cause. Sponsors will get red carpet VIP treatment so don't be shy about stepping up a bit for the cause. Individual sponsorships begin with only a $150 contribution. Band Together also welcomes local recording artists Kennebec and Balsa Gliders.  A FREE late night show, inside Lincoln Theatre, space permitting, will be performed by Hank Sinatra & Wrinkle Neck Mules.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in theUnited States. By participating in our youth mentoring programs, Little Brothers and Sisters are more confident in their schoolwork performance, get along better with their families, are 46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs, 27% less likely to begin using alcohol, and 52% less likely to skip school.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of The Triangle not only needs your financial support by way of a ticket purchase or a donation, but they need those qualified to serve as Big Brothers and Sisters to volunteer to be a mentor.
