2019 Board Members Announced

Our new board members join a diverse group of business and community leaders. During their three-year term, board members’ responsibilities involve voting on important issues, committee involvement, recruiting and fundraising.

Matt Cooke joins the Band Together Board of Directors after serving on the Band Together Advisory Board. He is a Partner at Davis Moore where he leads the Corporate Advisory Services Division. In 2018 he was honored as a recipient of the Triangle Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Award.

In addition to his service on the board of Band Together, Matthew is heavily involved in the Triangle Community and gives back to multiple area charities and organizations including the American Heart Association, Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Oak City Outreach, Neighbor to Neighbor, Step Up Ministry, and Miles for MARSOC.

Hailing from Durham, NC, Kyle is a long time supporter of Band Together. Kyle has served on the Main Event Steering Committee since 2013. In 2018, he held the position as Chair of GA Engagement.

Kyle is the Practice Group Leader for Wyrick Robins’ Labor and Employment Practice Group. He regularly represents, counsels, and trains clients regarding all state and federal employment laws. He received his B.A., from the University of North Carolina, and his J.D., from the University of North Carolina School of Law. 

Noreen Allen, Chief Marketing Officer at Bandwidth, joins the Band Together Board of Directors after serving on our Board of Advisors.

Noreen’s professional experience includes leadership positions with both private and publicly traded companies. She excels at building powerful, category-leading brands that help to transform companies at various stages. 

Hamilton Sloan was one of the first Band Together Advisory Board members and we are so excited to welcome him to the Board of Directors.

A Raleigh native, Hamilton attended Duke University then travelled the country with General Parts International before coming back to Raleigh in 2006.   

He is currently a partner at Trail Creek Investments, on the Board of the Triangle Y, Y Guides, Boys and Girls Club, the Aldert Root Foundation and was one of the first Band Together Advisory Board members.
