Raleigh, N.C. (September 1, 2016) – Band Together NC, a Triangle-based organization that uses live music as a platform for social change, has announced the addition of four new directors to its board. The newly inducted directors are:
- John Addeo, Dimension Data
- Amanda Cheney, aMANda’S Best Friend
- Hooker Manning, Kane Realty Corporation
- Joan Seifert Rose, Council for Entrepreneurial Development
“As Band Together grows as an organization, so too does our board,” said Matt Strickland, executive director of Band Together. “Our new directors bring proven skills and passion for improving our community, and we are privileged to have these extremely talented business and community leaders join our board.”
The new members of the board of directors will join an existing board of 15 business and community leaders. During their three-year term, board members’ responsibilities involve voting on important issues, committee involvement, recruiting and fundraising. And, Bob Ramseur Jr, of Ragsdale Liggett PLLC, has been elected to serve as the new president of the board of directors.
